If it makes any difference, I updated Sentenel first. The firmware update for BCD436HP, BCD536HP, SDS200, and SDS100 scanners are done with the Sentinel software. My beloved SDS100 started acting up this morning, and I can't figure out what might be wrong. The issues I describe below seem to have started this morning when I turned off all my favorites lists, except for two digital trunked systems (one of which I reprogrammed last night).Without the lock symbol printed next to the power button it could cause a lot of confusion when the keypad stopped responding after being locked. Ironically in early versions of Sentinel you could set the "Keypad Lock" option to On for the SDS100 and the keypad would be actually be locked after writing to the scanner so *part* of the keyboard ...The SDS100 picks up both with no issues. This honey badger eats simulcast for breakfast. Faster scanning. Like 25-50% faster plowing through conventional channels, or 100-120 channels/second vs 80 for the x36. The screen is much clearer than the displays of the x36 scanners. MUCH CLEARER..
